Around Town

This is our latest edit, it's called Around Town and I think it's probably one of our better edits. Watch out for my fairly large jump to dash vault, Cameron's back full and Justin's huge gainers!

Styro Parkour

On our youtube channel these guys called Styro Parkour subscribed to us. We think they have some great potential! watch out for the webster side-flip that one of them does it's pretty sick.

Enjoy the video!

Team Logo

Hi! These are a couple of logos that I came up with last night for Method Freerunning. Ok, I came up with the blue one and my sister came up with the black one. Both are just rough designs so they aren't perfect and we're probably going to design a few more, but I was just wondering which one you guys like better...

Comment and let us know! :)

October Progression

This is our latest video which our sister filmed using a tripod (which means the images aren't shaky!). It's called October Progression because it's basically all the things we did this month. We had another session with Mikey from Team Hybrid - and while editing the video we used techniques that we haven't used before so this one's a bit different from the rest. Sorry about the choice of music (the song really annoys me) but it seemed to be the only thing that kind of went with the video. You should look out for Mikey's wall-flip and my front-flip to kong...and my many fails at the end of the video.

Enjoy :)

We Want You!

My brother and I have decided to do a Q and A as we have just reached forty subscribers! :) so if you guys want to ask us any question feel free to go ahead :) enjoy the video as always :P

How It Goes

This video was made up of clips that we never used but some may be repeats, the still you can see before you play the youtube video is of my brother and I about to do flips onto concrete. This was possibly the first time we had ever done stuff onto concrete, but now we look back and we think we reached a mile stone! I think that it's one of our best videos. Enjoy the video as always! :)

Muck About Session

This was just a little fun video that my brother and I had made, we didn't put too much effort into to thought as it was just a quick little video. I found that it was quite fun making this video as we had never done front-flips off large heights before. Anyway... enjoy the video :P

Hanging Out With Mikey

This first video we made with Mikey from Team Hybrid - we'd met him a couple of days before on Braemar night and had a session with him. He's pretty good at freerunning to say the least. Anyway, the jump at the end of this vid might look kind of small but when you see the below shots you'll realise it's actually not. We had a load of fun making this video and it's probably one of our best.

Thumbs up to Mikey

Enjoy :)

The Best Of Method Freerunning

This is a compilation of what we thought were our best moments so far. It involves gainers, backflip 360s, lache losers and awesomeness. These clips were taken from earlier videos posted on our channels - some which never actually featured in any of our videos before.

Changing the face of Method Freerunning

Recently I have been thinking about changing our team logo (see first post) which, at the moment, in my opinion is not really up to scratch! I think it needs to look more professional - something like Team Farang's which is simple but effective, and Storror's, which is just the team's name but put into fancy bubble writing. I'm also thinking of creating a simple intro to use for all our videos. If you guys have a thought or two about what software we could use (we currently use windows movie maker), or any editing tips and ideas on a new logo, please leave your comments below the post.

Frosti Saves The Day

This has to be the most inspirational freerunning/parkour video that I have ever seen! The guy in the video is from Tempest Freerunning and his nick name's Frosti. In the video he shows off his unique style which is very laid back and flows nicely through all his movements. The way he does it makes it look so effortless and he is clearly among the best in the world at that specific style ( and if he isn't, he should be).

Fails

This is a compilation of our fails in all their glory! From failed landings to shenanigans caught on camera. This is Method Freerunning at it's worst...or as some might say, funniest.

Enjoy :)

Side-Flip Tutorial

This is me and Cameron giving a tutorial on how to do a side-flip, one of the most commonly used flips in freerunning. It's also probably one of the easiest to do, despite how it looks. Of course, you can't expect to do it straight off - it took me about a week to learn how to do this properly, but there are many different ways of actually doing a side-flip. It all depends on personal style. I do mine with a two foot punch, whereas others might do a one foot punch.

I hope you find this tutorial useful, enjoy :)

Murray Fails

This is my brother failing at a side-flip. I thought it was pretty funny...as you can probably tell by the laughter at the end of the video!

One Weekend...

This is the video of me landing my second side-flip on concrete ever. But now, I can land them on concrete every single time, which is pretty cool. This is also a video featuring our illusive friend Justin (for once). He's hardly ever in any of our videos even though he's in our team. Oh yeah, and there's a random bit of scene filming done by Murray i.e. kind of pointless...

Enjoy anyway and leave a comment please :)

Lots of Attempts

This is Murray trying to do a lache loser - ignore the badly written opening and enjoy the many failed attempts and lots of lovely swear words!

The Chase

This is the video we put up after Training Days and it's definitely one of the silliest things I've done in my life. Also, it was a first for us because we hadn't done any flips off something as high as the shed featured in the video...it was probably 10ft high...I think. I like the concept of the video but I'm pretty sure we could have done better and we were actually going to do a Chase 2, but we gave up because all the videos we took were too dark. Maybe we'll do another next year? I don't know.

Enjoy the silliness :)

Training Days

This is the first video we made with our HD camera (which we still currently use). Cameron thinks this is among one of our best vids, since we improved massively in...I'd say about the space of two to three weeks of solid training. It's a testament to the saying 'practise makes perfect'. I'm not saying by any means that we are perfect, we've just improved a heck of a lot.

So enjoy the vid :)

A Day Of Freerunning

This again is one of our earliest videos, posted about three or four months ago and I can see how much my friends and I have improved since then. Anyhoo here's the video ;)

Superman Front Flip

We're still in the early stuff, so right here for you today is a video where I attempted to give a tutorial for a superman front flip which I don't actually think I quite pulled off. Even though this isn't our best video, enjoy :)

Airplane Graveyard Vs Pro Freerunners: THE TAKEOVER

This is one of my favourite freerunning videos as it features famous freerunning teams from all around the world like Team Farrang, Tempest Freerunning, Storror, Take Flight, Apex Movement and many more. Check out the crazy shiz that goes on in the plane graveyard - keep an eye out for this palm flip a guy does off another guy while still in mid-air! And watch for the slow-mo kong gainer in a speed run. Also, watch for Luci Romberg's mental high speed cork 540.

This is such a creative piece of work featuring some even more creative cinematography. If this video doesn't get you at least a tiny bit interested in freerunning, I genuinely don't know what will. In fact, you may even be a bit of a lost cause.

Method Freerunning Intro

This was a wee intro video we made where we couldn't quite seem to get our words out...

The camera quality of this video literally makes me want to cry.

Justin's Backflip Tutorial

This is Justin's backflip tutorial - our second video we posted on youtube. Again, the camera quality isn't up to much, but we did change cameras eventually and our videos now are in HD so it's all good!

Check it out :)

This is Method Freerunning

Hey,

This is one of the first videos we ever made as a team so it's pretty...ummm, let's just say, not up to our usual standards. You might be wondering why it's going on the blog then. The answer = well, since this is a blog all about Method Freerunning, you can't miss out any part of it. That means even the bad videos go on here. And just to warn you, the camera quality in this video isn't really up to much.

First Post

Hi!

This is a blog all to do with Method Freerunning so basically it's going to include youtube videos from our channel, info on Parkour and Freerunning, videos we've found and thought you readers might like...pretty much everything to do with us.

Method Freerunning is made up of myself, Cameron and Justin and we wanted to share our parkour videos with everyone and hope that just maybe, one day we might be as good as teams like Storror and Tempest Freerunning.
